Today's Article will be About Monarchs (KCVDS)

Monarchs are respected and feared monster type (Which I fear them myself ),which are used in many variations.In this article i'll try to list monarchs,their different strategies,support cards,and a Standard Monarch Deck build

Don't Listen to a guy telling Monarchs are for n00bs because he must have been beated by a one couple of minutes ago

Monarchs Strategies:

Macro Monarchs:
This deck is totally hard to beat as it cancelled graveyard effect because of dimensional fissure and macro cosmos,it depends on D.D Survivors as well as D.D Scout Plane who keeps coming back each turn giving you unlimited tributes

Old School Monarchs:
This Deck depends on monster that keeps special summoning themselves from the deck as Nimble Momonga,Giant Germ,Treeborn Frog as well as many cards of that kind giving you chance to tribute on your turn

Monsters:
Mobius the Frost Monarch
2400/1000/ LVL6 - Aqua/Water

This is the most annoying monarch in KCVDS,It's like a couple of Mystical Space Typhoon.he can blow acouple of s/t.this effect helps him to avoid Zaborg's Problem

Zaborg The Thunder Monarch
2400/1000/LVL 5 -Thunder/Light

good card..works greatly in macro monarchs,but becareful of his obligatory effects which may destroy him or his allies

Granmarg the Rock Monarch
2400/1000/LVL 6 - Rock/Earth

Not bad at all,he's a 2400 attack monster with Dark World Lightning effect,he's the least used,weakest monarch but he's still good,also takecare of his compulsory effect because that may lead to destroying your own s/t

Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch
2400/1000/LVL 6- Pyro/Fire

When this card is Tribute Summoned, randomly discard 1 card from your opponent's hand to the Graveyard. If the discarded card was a Monster Card, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the monster x 100.

he's abalanced monster with 2400 attack and has the ability to kill acard in opponent hand and may deal damage if it's amonster

Supportive Cards:
Treeborn Frog
100/100/LVL 1 -Aqua/Water

If this card is in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase and you control no Spell or Trap Cards, you can Special Summon it. This effect cannot be activated if you control a face-up "Treeborn Frog".

It's Usually used in classic monarchs,but it's still useful,you get atribute whenever you don't have any spell or traps

Gravekeeper's Spy
1200/2000/LVL 4 -Spellcaster/Dark

An amazing card with high defence and supply you with copies to be sacrificed

Spirit Reaper/Marshmallon

These monsters can't be destroyed by battle plus 1000 burn for marshmallon and the other with the ability to discard acard when it attacks directly..they both fully supplies monarch's deck

Destiny Heroes/Destiny Draw

This is the most popular strategy especially when it's used with Destiny Hero Malicious,but i prefer destiny hero diamond dude..because as my friend sasuke uchiha says malicious alone is adead draw but diamond dude isn't

Traps:
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Mirror Force
1x Trap Dustshoot
1x Magical Cylinder
3x Phoenix Wing Wind Blast
2x Solemn Judgement

SacredDuelist mostly Summarized the Monarchs but left the 2 most important Monarchs out (no offence)

Caius the Shadow Monarch - Fiend/Dark
2400/1000/LVL 6
Effect: When this card is tribute summoned you can remove one card on the field (Magic/Trap/Monster) and if you remove a dark monster your opponent loses 1000LP

Raiza the Storm Monarch - Winged Beast/Wind
2400/1000/LVL 6
Effect: When this card is tribute summoned return 1 card on the field to the top of the owner's deck

These cards are the most commonly used cards

About the Diamond Dude i might have to disagree becuase relying on Diamond Dude alone for Destiny Draw is a bit risky
I would put in Krebons instead of Diamond Dude because he can stall and you can use Emergency Teleport to get him out fast if u ever need it and hes a Tuner

I would Sub out Peten the dark clown for Necro Gardna since he stops an attack at any time peten can only be activated the moment it hits the grave

I would also sub Destiny Draw with allure of Darkness since you have Dark monsters in there
